Within the frames of the European project INFRA-NAT (Horizon 2020), in the course of 2 and 3 October 2018, IZIIS was host of the second design workshop entitled “Bridge Exposure Data Collection” in which, in addition to the participants from the partner countries (Italy, Israel and Macedonia), there actively were involved participants from the Skopje city, Public Enterprise for State Roads, Public Enterprise Macedonian Roads and representatives from the Veles municipality. The INFRA-NAT (Increased Resilience of Critical Infrastructure to Natural and Human-Induced Hazards) project  is aimed at increase of the resistance of the bridge infrastructure to the seismic and aging/deterioration hazards. The principal investigator of the project – Prof. Dr. Gian Michele Calvi (EUCENTRE, Italy) and the principal investigator of the project from IZIIS – Prof. Dr. Vlatko Sheshov welcomed the participants and pointed out the importance of this joint initiative.
