INFRA-NAT – Increased Resilience of Critical Infrastructure to Natural and Human-Induced Hazards

INFRA-NAT program aims at increased resilience of critical infrastructure, focusing on seismic hazard and ageing /deteriorating effects in bridges. The project consortium comprises three countries very important to the broad European context: Italy, Macedonia and Israel. It will provide the necessary tools for local and regional bodies to assess the vulnerability of critical infrastructure and provide guidance on how to best allocate available resources.

General information
On 2 October 2018, as part of INFRA-NAT project, a Workshop on the Bridge Exposure Data Collection will be held at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The workshop will focus on Bridge Exposure Data Collection and it is in the frame of WP2.
The workshop will comprise oral presentations and training.

Objectives and Conclusions
The objective of second work package is to collect data on the inventory of bridge infrastructure in each of the regions pertinent to the INFRA-NAT action proposal (i.e. Italy, Macedonia and Israel). The WP2 is to generate a database of bridges with relevant information that is needed to assess their level of exposure to the hazards discussed in WP1.

Location
The workshop will take place at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology, Todor Aleksandrov str. 165, Skopje.
The participation to the workshop is free of charge.
