Jovan Trajcevski

Jovan Trajcevski, M.Sc. is an ext. professional associate at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS) at the University “St. Cyril and Methodius ”in Skopje. Currently part of the Department of Risk, Disaster Management and Strategic Planning. He started his master studies at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology in 2013 with a full scholarship from the institute. From the very beginning of his studies, he became an external associate at IZIIS, which included him in a series of scientific and applied projects. During his studies, he participated in the exchange of students within the ERASMUS program, during which he successfully spent one semester at the Federico Seconodo University in Naples, Italy. In 2018 he holds a master’s degree in the field of seismic vulnerability of structures. In 2019, doctoral studies at IZIIS on the topic of seismic risk and seismic vulnerability begin. During his career, he participates in several scientific and application projects as well as in several missions to determine the safety of buildings damaged by earthquakes. He is a member of the Macedonian Earthquake Engineering Association (MAEE) and the Chamber of Certified Engineers and Architects (KOAI).
