M. Sc. Marina Poposka graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje, in 2015. In the academic year 2015/2016, she was enrolled in the second cycle of international postgraduate studies at the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS). In 2019, she took her master’s degree in the Earthquake Engineering field, in the domain of record selection for nonlinear seismic analysis of structures. She is an Assistant and part of the Department of Natural and Technological Hazard and Ecology in the Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology (IZIIS), “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University Skopje, Republic of N. Macedonia. Her research field of interest includes data processing and analysis of strong motion records, the definition of seismic design parameters, record selection for nonlinear seismic analysis of structures, BIM implementation in structural analysis. During her professional career, she has attended several training courses and has realized study stays at Naples, Italy (2017), Weimar, Germany (2018), Iasi, Romania (2019), Split, Croatia – online (2020), GFZ – Postdam, Germany – online (2020). She is a member of the Macedonian Association for Earthquake Engineering MAEE, as well as the Macedonian Chamber of Certified Architects and Certified Engineers of the Republic of N. Macedonia. She is currently an IZIIS representative in the Technical Committee ISRM TC 45 – Building Information Modeling (BIM).
