On 13th of August 2020, Dr. Julijana Bojadjieva, Assistant professor at the Department of Geotechnics at IZIIS, held a virtual seminar as a guest lecturer at the University of Manitoba, Canada. The seminar was organized upon the invitation of Dr. Pooneh Maghoul, Associate professor and Founder and Leader of SIGLAb (Sustainable Infrastructure and Geomechanical Research Lab) at the University of Manitoba.

Participants at the Seminar were graduate students from University of Manitoba as well as several international guests interested in the topic. Besides the interesting and fruitful discussion after the lecture, possible future research cooperation in terms of student exchange and sharing of knowledge were suggested.
