About

Research infrastructures provide researchers with the facilities (resources and services) they need to do their work. Infrastructures are a prerequisite for high-quality research. In this context, the EU-funded ERIES project will advance frontier knowledge through transnational access to leading experimental facilities in structural, seismic, wind and geotechnical engineering. The project will allow users to improve frontier knowledge and conduct curiosity-driven research concerning the losses and disruption caused by these dangers, their management of associated risks and the development of innovative solutions to address them. ERIES will integrate the successful results and implementation of previous infrastructure projects, such as SERIES and SERA, and extend access capabilities to new communities and disciplines, and contribute to a greener and more sustainable society.
